Evil paradise is whack but dope at the same time lol

ICTTW

Was whack and the wrong follow up single to LIME

Other than those songs it's flawless.

Part of me has always thought they should've held on to Days of Our Lives to release it as a single for this album, as this album is a classic to me, but not a strong singles album. On the other hand, Days kept them hot while they put this album together, so I can see an argument for doing it the way they did. Shoot Em Up would've fit nicely on here as well, though that was not a potential single, either.

This was Ruthless problem

They should of kept it one album and it would of been bones best music ever.

From 93-98 they was in a zone

Tomica had Krayzie and Bizzy going against each other at that particular time. That's why you hear most of Krayzie on this album and less of Bizzy. And the album after this one, more Bizzy and Flesh and less Krayzie and Wish.

Hell, Krayzie on most of the songs that he wasn't originally on like "Ready 4 War". And his first verse from his song "Drama" were supposed to be on the first "Family Tree" song. They even had a lot of Flesh N Bone on this album (as well as E. 1999 Eternal) but they had to cut out his parts due to him not being signed to Ruthless.

yea, most of yall prolly already know, theres a ton of AOW pre-release songs on youtube.

the original state of the album was better.

theres also that "lets get it on" song, which sounds incomplete, and is just a bizzy verse. hes dissin mystikal on there.

have to strongly disagree with the bolded.

"look into my eyes" was big, and "if i could teach the world" was even bigger. that joint was #1 on MTV. the show that was the pre-cursor to TRL. they basically just changed the name.

i mean, by bone's standards back then, it wasnt that strong but 95% of the rap game would kill for that singles run.

Krayzie was in another zone during this album, hes not on the next album that much and it shows.

thats cuz krayzie & wish were on tour when they recorded half of the songs on ressurrection.

high-key, half of the songs krayzie did on ressurrection were skips.

Yeah Kray was promoting his solo album then got a call from bone in the studio telling him to come record for the group album.

I have more of a personal connection to this than any other Bone album, E1999 included.

Not saying I think it's better, just the shyt that was going on in life at the time, getting ready to head to middle school.. This shyt was the fukking anthem Summer 97.
