youre showing your age.

just because the 10 or 12 rappers that you were cognizant of back then were going platinum, it doesn't mean everybody was.

a lot of big names with big hits were cappin off at gold in the '90s and even during the boom period of the late '90s/early '00s.

a lot of that cash money/ruff ryders/priority stuff capped off at gold.
most no limit releases went gold - which is still a huge accomplishment seeing that most of that stuff wasn't really promoted - but still.

LOL They were not big names if they couldn't push platinum back in the 90's

Pac was a "thug" for thrills, not for reals. Can't take that clown serious. Especially because he ended in the casket because of his bipolar behaviour. He was basically chiraq status in the 90s with his ignorant and childish antics, spitting on cameramen and walking like an idiot in the courtroom.

Now compare him to real street cats like M.O.P. They're low key. They're mature. They do or did their work, but don't brag about it. And they don't come off as "superthugs" with a silly bandana on their head.

Tupac Shakur was an actor, "2PAC" was his show.

Neg me.

Shot cops
Ate charges for his homies
Stood up to politicians
Did time and never snitched
Rode for his homies
Got at gangsters

I had to neg ya breh

so basically 2pac felt more comfortable throwing subs at out-of-towners, rather than dissin eazy-e?

this is how it seems.

a lot of the stuff you were bragging about in your previous post was not platinum.

just throw in the towel and admit that you were just following internet rhetoric.

They were easily bigger than Pac from 94-96.

Alotta dudes in my school were barely even checkin' for Pac like that until he died...then everybody hopped on his sack.

Damn I don't really remember that too much.. I was still a git tho so maybe that's why. A lot of people I grew up around were Pac stans so I'm basically being biased
