Honestly... After hearing his review... I'm thinking, because I love gaming so much, the PS4 would be for me.

The thing is I never bought a ps3... I am an Xbox360 head. So my circle, dudes I've really grown to know, are all getting the x1 and I love the controller.

Plus, I do have a wife and 2 children, I like the entertainment capabilities of the X1 so I'm reluctantly getting the X1.

Now I understand not wanting to put the cost on the consumer... but it is still perplexing why Msft didn't go all out w/ the specs.

I mean... cooling? There are ways around it. Why give Sony the possibility to compete specs wise?

Honestly, it almost feels like collusion. Like these companies compromise to keep the competition going.

I will say this though... When I pick up my X1, although I know down the line I will enjoy it...I am going to feek VERY uncomfortable picking up an inferior gaming machine.

Bruh, the Xbox is equally as powerful as the PS4 and will be more poweerful than the PS4 by the end of this gen.
So whatever you thought, you was wrong on. BF and COD could have been 1080p on XB1, but the framerates would take a dip like they do on PS4
Would it have been identical? No, probably a little worse right now because they are still learning how to utilize the system. Its does things in a different way than developers are used to, but they'll get it
Its been estimated that they'll have it down in 6mnths. In comparison, the PS3 took a full 3yrs before it was able to somewhat catch up to the X360. But that didn't stop gamers from saying the opposite.
In fact, they blamed the developers, called them lazy. That was the go to reason.

Just be patient, XB1 already has better games, better online, better everything. Just 2 or 3 games at launch were in slightly lower resolutions (but had better framerates) its not the end of the world, or the war

In Summary:
Ps4: For gamers, by gamers. The ultimate game console and gaming system. its awesome. Whether its AAA titles like Second Son or Indie games like Contrast and Rezogun, these guys have an amazing GAMING console.
Xbox: A wonderful entertainment console... that also plays games. Enhanced tv watching, enhanced music/video streaming, built in skype, snapping a web browser onto your screen while you wait to matchmake your online games. Just a great entertainment experience (but you sacrifice somewhat on the video quality for games)

That's pretty much why I'm getting both, one can go in the family room and the other I'll keep in my bedroom
