Yo I forgot to let y'all brehs know!! The Oathbringer just came out last month!:ooh:

For those of you who know, there's writer named Brandon Sanderson who writes fantasy books. He's got a dope ass trilogy titled "The Stormlight Archives" about some warriors who're fighting demons and they're unlocking their powers which were thought to be lost millenia of years past.

That's book 1,2 and 3. All in order, above.

It's different classes of heroes so they've got 4 main characters stories going on at the same time. And some sideline heroes too, so it's a lot like A Song of Fire and Ice in that regard with like the chapters.

It's a good read for anyone just looking to zone out of reality for a second.

Did Sanderson write the Wheel of Time series as well?

Yep, one of them! the other co-author is Robert Jordan. It's a dope series too I heard but I have yet to read it.
I read his other series "The Mistborn" which was also dope. Both of his works that I read tackle slavery in one way or another, and though I don't think he's the best at it. He's not horrible at it either so it doesn't disrupt the enjoyment of the series.

I love books on the Mafia.

The plan to attempt to read the following in 2018
s-l500.jpg

This is supposed to the answer to all the Jimmy Hoffa questions. Allegedly Frank "the Irishman" Sheerman made a deathbed confession that he killed Jimmy Hoffa in 1975 at the bequest of his Mafia Don Russell Bufalino. Frank Sheeran was a union leader from Southwest Philadelphia that belonged to a catch them, killem unit in World War II. This story about how he became a Hitman for the mafia Don. Bufalino is reportedly one of the most powerful Mafia bosses who ever lived but who most people don't very little about. He control whole sections of Pennsylvania and even had a seat on the commission even though he was not one of the five families.

If you know anything about the mob in Philadelphia then known as the most dysfunctional Mafia Family in America. Phil Leonetti was Nicky Scarfo nephew. His uncle was basically a psychopath. He tells his side of the story and this book. I can't wait to give it a read.

I've been reading stuff by Carol Berg, N. K. Jeminsin (a blk female author who became a name in fantasy and whom by the way used to write Dragonball Z fanfiction I used to read in the 7th grade. CRAZY?!), I miss reading for fun.
The other day I found myself reading the Tao Te Jing. Lmao! "The Tao that can be spoken...is not the eternal Tao..."

All the shyt I read now is PhD stuff.

Been getting into applied behavior analysis and B. F. Skinner stuff, multivariate statistics for my experimental large group studies, single-case research, culturally responsive pedagogy, YAWN!

I want dragons and villages, and mages and shyt!
