Just got this today, I read it in high school and never forgot it. Reading again 15 years later.

About halfway through this book. It's helping me see the fukkboy stuff I do and how I view other people's actions, both good & bad:

Why Black People Tend to Shout: Cold Facts and Wry Views from a Black Man's World. By Ralph Wiley.
Wiley was a really good sports writer for Sports Illustrated who died suddenly back in 2004.

Just got "Songs Of A Dead Dreamer/Grimscribe" by Thomas Ligotti in the mail. :wow:

Season 1 of "True Detective" bit off his writing heavily. His books are super rare and expensive ($1,000) but they reprinted a few a minute ago so now you can get them for around $15.

Read both in 2 weeks, Homegoing is really good, some characters lacked development and I feel like she kind of rushed to incorporate all era's of black people but 9/10

Icebeg Slim's book is funny but tragic. Decent read, I give it a 7/10
