This episode was an improvement from last week,

it had obvious satire..... I chuckled a few times with Uncle Ruckus trolling and the Good Times anthem coming out of nowhere when they were in the garage.

Still nothing like the subtle satire that McGruder employs when he writes an episode.

I'll give this Week's Episode a solid B

I mean, they just turned Sarah into a straight-up ho for the Chris Brown episode :dead:

She was NOT that bad in the Usher episode :heh:

But at least Tom had the balls to get up and leave the bytch at the table when her tongue got too loose. Other than actually controlling the chick, that's the best response you can give when they act up like that. Too bad he later returned to her and made up with her :heh:

:birdman:I watched the first episode and didn't even crack a smile.

:birdman:If I dont get one laugh by episode 3 i'm throwing the whole season in the bushes pleighbwoi

That last episode was the worst one I ever saw. I just kept waiting to bust out laughing.

Soon as it was over I promptly deleted it from my dvr. :camby: Straight trash
:gladbron:The Living Legend of L's general miLLs thought you took the final L and were gone for good...we all took an L watching this episode

That good times shyt was the only thing that made me halfway smile other than that it was dirt.

The uncle ruckus that mcgruder/jones created was some genious shyt, on a comedy, satirical, social and political level. But so far all I'm seeing is a ruckus reduced to just being the character on the show relying on saying "nikka" over and over for laughs with no complexity creativity or having a point to it. Even if its a stupid point it still had a point to it and it made ya laugh.

And where the fukk is Riley and Huey this season. These 1st two episodes they were basically useless. When they did speak or were involved in the storyline it wasn't funny or useful it was just oh look Riley said something

I thought the there was a bit more to the Ruckus character last night. It was obvious and not subtle like McGruder would do.

I mean I thought Ruckus character was obviously satirizing Black republicans like Herman Cain and Dr. Ben Carson and how Fox News and white america is quick to clamor to them as the GOP's great black hope for the answers to why there is black poverty.

Because of their refusal to grab themselves by the bootstrap and work their their way out of debt. It is a simple notion but the episode demonstrated how easy they get into debt and impossibility of getting out.

I know that's were they were trying to do with that episode, they just lacked being funny while doing it.

Also, I hate to be critiquing a fukkin cartoon like this lol but your right about how obvious the satire is and that's part of what's fukkin it up. Like the Chris brown ep was soooo obvious I was like dam they didn't even try come at this old played out shyt in a clever way. Just Chris brown -stupid, Tom -corny, toms wife -stupid corny and horny ...the end.
