1. Allow that many people are huge hypocrites.
2. It also depends on A: the person who's doing the snitching, B: the target of the snitching, and C: the action being snitched on. Not all snitching is created equal. Petty gangland bullshyt and a shootout that leaves dozens dead and injured are of a different magnitude.
