I've seen bigger names perform for less after hotel and accomodations are covered an this was back when people actually sold records.

According to The Chicago Tribune, a judge ordered Chief Keef and his booking agent to pay an Atlanta-based concert promoter $82,000 after he was a no-show at an Alabama fraternity party.

The Chicago rapper was booked and scheduled to perform at the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity house at Auburn University in April 2015, but he never showed. As a result, The Booking Collective, who paid Keef's booking agent a $12,000 deposit, sued the rapper for more than $25,000 for breaking the contract. In addition to the deposit, The Booking Collective also spent over $5,000 on food, alcohol, flights, and rooms to accommodate the points on his tour rider.

The fraternity also sued The Booking Collective for $70,000 following the incident, which they settled out of court for an undisclosed amount.
