Haven't caught it but I still wear a mask. I got family members to think about. I may be able to catch it and beat it, but I'm not about to play with their health like that.

Seems like you haven’t been paying much attention to COVID if Delta is the last variant you are aware of. Do you follow the news at all?
If you had been paying attention, you would have already known, starting a year ago, that the vaccine does not prevent transmission and infection with the variants. Same with the booster. It is meant to keep you out of the hospital and alive.
antibodies from the booster shot wanes after 6 months. i you got your booster shot more than 6 months ago then you probably didn't have a lot of antibodies ready to fight off infection before your immune system could ramp up some more.
I've never had covid before since the start of the pandemic, in general I haven't been sick in years, got double vaxxed and the booster...and I still caught this bih
Maybe the vaccine prevented major health problems or maybe it didn't do anything at all. Maybe I should have gotten another booster but I'm not a fukking boomer so what gives?

if it's that bad, it's good you got your shot and your immune system had some level of readiness. some people aren't aren't so fortunate and face covid unprepared.

We have amongst the least doctors per capita, least nurses per capita, least ICU beds by capita compared to other similarly developed nations. If you have people clogging the medical system, everyone isn't getting sufficient care, thus an increase in the probability of death.
