but the Knicks need a legit, full time post up player, who will occasionally take a jump shot, not a semi-post up player who favors the jumpshot like Boozer

In other words, someone who will not be in Melo's way trying to take a jumpshot at the same spot

If Amare is healthy and gets into some better shape this is a good deal for the Bulls if they can restructure the contract somehow

and the Knicks win because Boozer rebounds and hits that 15-18 ft shoot freeing the paint for Melo post up and the other guys slashing.
