Nation identity will never trend away from those three core concepts in thread title
this is closed minded
one day the average human beings will understand CULTURALLY that he belongs to a larger family than some manufactured nation
nation identity will be obsolete in the sense of how you think of it today
in fact it is already happening for those wealthy enough to have no borders
they can travel and go live anywhere they want and see themselves as world citizens

their assignations are only perfunctory

maybe national citizenship is not the solution, maybe world citizen is better

wait we don't have an official language?
people who come to the us yearn to lean English
hell they yearn to learn another language period
some who come too old it is more difficult so they don't bother

so, it's their money
it's better than billionaires hiding their earnings offshore or in their bank accounts, at least immigrant money returns to the world economy, apples sells iphones overseas too

Wyoming
world citizenship? stop it. That will never happen because you have nations with different social philosophes, goals, and economical structures

Age has nothing to do with not knowing how to talk English. There are services provided in different languages, so that further encourages folks not to learn the language

It's not their money if that US job doesn't hire them. So how is the US benefiting from an illegal immigrant wiring their money to another country to stimulate their economy?

Wyoming? comeonbruh. You trolling now. Since when the US stop claiming Wyoming

if they all lost their identity they would have nothing to fight over
you want less identity not more
I want more identity, thus more pride and willingness to fight for
You suggested world citizenship in your post, so you want less identity. Which has already proven by Rome to be disastrous

lol. world citizens with passports issued by border conscious nations
That's not closed minded, I'm being realistic from what history has taught us and what plights exist in current nations that fail to solidify these three concepts

man...there are so many assumptions being made in this thread by OP
That will never happen because you have nations with different social philosophes, goals, and economical structures
that's exactly what is changing, you are short sighted

Age has nothing to do with not knowing how to talk English

circular reasoning and ignoring relevant argument
world citizens with passports issued by border conscious nations
shortsightedness

here is the thing
I identify with the world
they are all my brothers and sisters

No assumptions, dealing in reality and maintaining perspective on the various cultures, religions, and economies that exist
"Free speech" alone is a concept not universally accepted. Then once you add religion into the discussion, there's noway you finna have a global agreement on basic citizen rights, let alone complex matters

You could identify with moon too, but you still need something to visit it. Same with countries and their passports. That's never going to change
Noway a country is going to threaten their local economy for a global one. The European Union proves the dangers of such an idea

I doubt that seriously... borders... Prostitution is here to stay

You can't justify borders. The world is globalizing. there will be less borders in the coming decades
globalizing doesn't mean sacrificing your nation's economy, safety, culture, language and borders.
Example, do you see how China manipulates its currency for personal gains. Had there been a global currency they wouldn't be able to do that

dealing in reality and maintaining perspective on the various cultures, religions, and economies
all these things change you can't base principles on them
only upon the fact that they change and the unchanging principles that lead to their change and the destination of their trends

Of course you can cause those things are the root of most people's pricinpals

Cultures: pursuit of the American dream, free speech, practice any religion
Religion: a one god, worshiper responsibilities, commitment
Economies: capitalism

In America, while "globalization" is occurring, tell me what will change about these specific point?

What does it's working so far even mean? cause there are plenty of nations in the UN that's apply those concepts successfully
What are your alternate suggestions?

do you realize that you are part of the problem, not apart of the solution cause you're dismissing concepts while not being able to explain why those concepts are failing. Thus you don't seem to recognize the importance of these concepts and how they apply to creating and maintaining a "successful" nation

What does it's working so far even mean?
nationalism is not a new thing
calling for borders and whining about multiculturalism is not a new thing
pretending that that is what will make a nation strong is not a new thing

y'all care about strong nations so much give the Indians back their country and get the fukk out :mjlol:
