Borderlands ruined gaming for me. Please recommend a similar game.

After playing that series nonstop for the last 4 years or so, I can play no other game. I feel everything about the series was perfect. Pace, variety of guns, leveling, story, boss battles, difficulty, co-op or not.

Since I finished The Prequels, I've tried to play the below and all have failed to keep my attention:

Fallout 4
GTA
Skyrim
Titanfall
Overwatch
Destiny

I use to be able to play for hours, but now like 20 minutes of those games and I'm like ehhhh.

I am looking forward to Mass Effect and I'm thinking about going back and playing the trilogy.

The Witcher 3 is amazing

Horizon zero dawn looks really good as well and I will also recommend Dishonored 2

i still aint finished the handsome collection that collection gave u a lot of bang for your buck and i still got the original one that i downloaded via xbox bc i havent even played that one yet

I will add, I have gotten enjoyment out of Halo MCC but I only play that co-op with my son.

I can't see myself ever getting through my backlog because I can't stop buying shyt. I have games for 360 and ps3 I never got around to playing. I don't even want to think about what games are on my PC that I forgot I had and have never touched

Destiny, play with friends, do end game, the raids in that game > any end game in borderlands.

I know it's on your list but it's not a game to be played solo.
