I think its a mix of both.
when people say "i was born gay!!!" imo thats a misconception.
"I was born gay" mean to me is, my brain/consciousness finds this shyt arousing and not by a conscious choice.
However, what we've learned about Human Sexuality is that its actually pretty fluid, so much so that external stimuli can alter your sexuality.
And really, sexuality is a human created concept. Remember sex in and of itself is only a tool to procreate. So the whole idea of "normal" recreational sex is kinda laughable.
As long as we are still procreating , there really is no reason to not have non-heterosexual sex (
) but traditional gender roles/norms and religion say differently.

Not every gay guy is feminine
Why is it that everyone who believes in the born this way argument always has a story of someone who was a child that everyone just knew was gay? 
Let me say this, assuming those stories are true, just because a child might seem a little or a lot "different" growing up is ZERO proof they were actually born gay. Until science proves that theory, and it should be fairly easy to prove considering it would more than likely be like the breh up above said, some biochemical patterns(boys with to much estrogen, girls with to much testoterone, etc...) or a gay gene that can be easily identified i'm gonna roll with the nurture argument.
That is to say there are things some ppl live thru in their formative years that make them want to go that way. This example always comes up so i'll say it again here, as humans we can and do kill other humans at almost any age. Are those ppl born murderers tho? At the very least you can say there are things that some ppl are more susceptible towards doing than others.
Also to be clear, i'm not saying ppl can't be born gay...but i am saying they need to prove it first. I think i read an article years ago about them finding a fat gene. I remember thinking they can find a fat gene but haven't found a gay gene yet?!?!

Gays are for the most part not "born that way" because the genetic influences for it are too small (its only 11%-22% heritable in men).
However, its also not a choice because virtually nothing about sex is a free choice. You can't choose what turns you on, its a subconscious hormone reaction. Plus, there is some research that suggest that gay folks have different brain patterns than straight people.
I think the controversial Gay Germ Theory is the closest to the truth.

It's alot of other ppl than just mom and dad that influence and subject people's young developing minds to all types of shyt. Also think of this, as you see it more and more on tv, and movies and social media that infuences people also. Makes it less taboo as we as a society embrace it more and more.
That's not a friendly roast, especially when it's non stop. If he is that way you can affect his mood, self esteem and perception. This isn't oh breh took L or whatever, this is something he has to deal with society.

Understood but on my original post my little cousin was born in 2001. They didn't get flat out ridiculous with pushing the homosexual agenda til bout 2011 I feel. They're just outta hand with it now
