Proof that if you make the same album twice (not three like Curtis tried) and speak about the same issues you'll be rewarded. Wonder if this will stop rappers from experimenting and going left field with their music.

I hope not

I'm looking foward to a Drake country album, 2 chainz dubstep album, or rick ross rock album

doing faux-remakes from genres you picked up over a couple of months, makes for some great music

Good. I'm glad Cole is making the doubters shut up. I'm giving my lil bro shyt for it too. He swore Kanye was going to crush Cole in sales because he moved the album up to the 18th.

Huh? Tons of terrible albums have sold alot of copies.

true, but I'm guessing Kanye has never been beaten in sales 2 weeks in by another rapper that dropped the same week as him. I feel like if the album was better, there's no way J. Cole would've stood a chance of catching him.

The Yeezus album is starting to grow on me, but I think Kanye makes music that Kanye likes. I don't think he much cares about sales or making people happy. He'll just do his thing and hope people understand like he does. :yeshrug:

For better or worse, yeezus will still be way more influential.

Bowie's album Low sold like shyt and a lot of people hated it, but it was the blueprint for a bunch of shyt in the 80s. Funny thing, it was also a disjointed, schizophrenic mess like yeezus.
