DeMarco had almost 400 carries last year and that as behind an OL that is LIGHT YEARS better than anything we'll place on the field next season. Mojo falling off after he had that 343 carry season at 26 years old is too fresh in my mind.....

The Murray move would make no sense, Julius at least plays football and doesn't wanna be in UFC like a certain unnamed tight end

i hear you. I'd rather spend money for once though and take some risks on top tier free agents then just stand by idly and hope all of our draft picks pan out. We have depth but we need top talent too and we have plenty of money to spend. They're saying that if we land Thomas we're still gonna keep Marcedes. Lee+Robinson+Hurns+Thomas+Marcedes with Murray & Robinson in the backfield sounds pretty damn exciting. At the very least we'll know what we have with Blake :yeshrug:

How is Demarco not top 3 in his position? And as far as too much wear,he's not even at 1,000 career carries yet.

And as far as Julius Thomas I'ma let my boy bomani do the talking for me

:yeshrug: Just don't get that good feeling bout either of them...

I don't like Demarco as a signing at all. Just draft another back. Julius Thomas though:whoo:

Lewis has the 10th highest salary amongst TEs... i just checked. i dont think the release lewis though, he is a good blocker just isnt a great pass catcher. We got the cash, might as well keep the depth and let them compete....

Two good TEs for your young QB might not be a bad move at least for a season or two as salary permits.

McCourty said today he was surprised how strong our pitch for him was. Called coach Belicheck to tell him he was signing elsewhere (presumably us) and that's when they got the deal done.We were so close. I can't go another year watching Josh Evans back there :sadcam:

Well shyt, Caldwell wasn't lying about being active. The receiving core is looking ready provided everybody stays healthy. D-line getting stronger with Odrick + (presumably) Leonard Williams. House makes Gratz take a much more reduced role. Only question is, what are we doing at FS? They CAN'T mean to trot Josh fukking Evans out there again right? I mean, they just CAN'T.
