Series got potential if they learn to not emphasize the friendship and darkness crap that Naruto OD'ed on. I was tired of seeing that man face off against mass murdering mofos and then after he befriends them thinking "Wow they're just like me."

That only applies to anime adaptations of manga. This is not the case with Boruto and DBSuper. The anime and manga create different storylines intentionally and have different teams. There is just a guideline created by Kishi and Tori that they draw inspiration from.It never occurred in the manga, so yeah it's filler by definition.

Baruto genin exams were TRASH compared to Naruto. The first mission they go on in Baruto, also TRASH compared to Naruto first real mission. The only thing that has made me not bush this anime yet is the Sakura fight scene, and the fact that i'd like to see how Orochimaru and his kids story line plays out.

Heard they're going to redo the Momoshiki arc. I don't read the manga. Didn't know that there's a third guy with them. And Toneri somehow plays a part. I guess he explains Boruto's dojutsu.
The part I don't understand is how developed he is as a ninja but they have him cheat in the Chunin Exams. They should scratch that altogether and have Momoshiki come in before the final round against Shikadai.
