A firefighter job is inherently dangerous. Possibility of death is an inherent risk just like being a cop, same cant be same for the NBA. There doesnt supposed to be that type of risk associated w the job.
That 100 million dollar contract says otherwise AND HE WANTS TO PLAY. His tittylicious wife wants him to play..his damn kids prolly want him to play. I doubt he's out there 30 mins but wants the harm letting him go out there for 15 mins and shoot a couple jumpers. He'll exert a lil bit more energy than him getting in a suit and clapping his hands.

that contract has little to do with the risk involved with playing basketball. I don't think you're realizing the severity of Bosh's condition right now. There is a risk of death, thats nothing to play around with. I mean teams have team doctors for a reason. Plenty of players want to play through injuries, and teams allow it all the time. The fact the team is in the playoffs, could really use Bosh, and have nothing to gain by not clearing him, says a lot. Its like teams being strict with the NFL concussion policy.
