You don't pay that fee, you not getting nothing back, don't matter who put the phone call in for you.

And it felt kinda like Gillie and Wallo was low-key clout chasing after Nip.
Yeah in BK i don’t care who you call, you don’t pay the fee, ain’t shyt coming back. Unless you get on some gangster shyt to get it back.

I thought dmx got robbed in Texas

@shopthatwrecks
He actually shot one of his video's in the hood. The bottoms to be exact, like Boosie did down the street. Well Boosie was on the borderline. DMX was way past his prime during that video though. We all knew he was a crack smoker by then. He probably left with some Rocks when he finished shooting.

I never understood the whole robbin dudes for jewelry culture. Cause they always end up getting it back, most of the time with no cash involved...and through their connects.
It’s playing the long game.... “we’ll hold you down so this doesn’t happen... “they” would’ve killed you... pay us when you’re in town... we’ll make sure you’re good”

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Boskeo100 and Smurf need to host a show.. two funniest ass nikkas, but audio only tho.. these nikkas got a face for podcasts.:scust:
And do what? Gossip all day about who doing what? I don't get this generations need to do it. Which is weird cause it's the same nikkas from the 80s/90s, who are the ones on Live, talking like this. All these nikkas late 30s, early 40s. Running after the latest reports and what these little nikkas is doing. At least Nore keeps it about his generation. And still don't be out and about like "Who got robbed" and "Who is a real nikka" and shyt like that.

Now you wanna hear Smurf talk about what? Old G-Unit stories and who getting pressed in the islands

Not always. Quavo never got his chain back from the nikka in DC who snatched his shyt. But they did put some money on the nikka and the nikka was scared for his life for a few weeks after.

His shyt fell on the ground and a nikka picked it up and hit the Metro. That's much different than a planned robbery

It's a NY respect thing...
That became a rap culture everywhere thing becaus at one time, NY life influenced hip hop culture heavily.

The whole I had to get such and such chain back for him, is another side of the NY shyt... supposedly showing how much power a person has in his hood.

But usually that part ain't happening.
U just ain't getting ur chain back...

Theres another part about a nikka being able to wear ur stolen chain, after he robbed u of it, around ur hood...
Smh...

wearing chains is an NY thing

Snatching chains is a LA thing

there’s a long history of that in Los Angeles, especially when traveling to a hood that’s not yours, tuck your chain or get it snatched, back then cats would have chains with their hood engraved, snatching somebody else chain was not only a come up but a direct slight at their hood

lot of these Crip hoods started off by taking leather coats by force, that eventually evolved into jewelry etc giving these hoods names like Rich Rollin referring to having paper from robberies and bank licks

the chain snatching culture in rap definitely came from Los Angeles, since it was a place of money and entertainment, local hoods would prey on entertainers and athletes.... there’s a old news story of the 60s robbing the old r&b group the commodores back in the day
