The term "boss" or "bossman" is a fairly common "term of endearment" used by Bahamians and some other caribbean brehs. Just like some AAs claim "n!gga" is a term of endearment. We can use bossman.

I'm not even Bahamian and I say bossman myself. Just as a general friendly greeting. Like whenever I'm leaving work at night and I see the security guard out front I'll be like, Aite bossman have a good night. Guess since we got so many Bahamians I must've picked it up somewhere and use it just like bro and homie. Even in Spanish we use boss as a greeting term.

Even in Haitian Kreyol we often use "patron" which translate to "boss man" as a term of endearment. My own mother often calls me "patron" when she's congradulating me on something like "You look good in this suit, boss man!" type shyt or "you're letting the beard grow, boss man?" because she hates my beard but trying the smooth approach to get me to cut it.

Some of them cats see everything in black and white and be trying too hard. I get that living in the US does that to you but sometimes you gotta take a step back and listen to yourself and wonder if it's warranted here.

Yeah I'm waiting to see how much they're going to take. According to Google this should take 25% but we'll see if that's correct. I'm not sure if the Google answer takes Trump's tax code in 2019 into account. I remember they took over 33% last year but that was the old tax code
