If the Clippers know Paul is gonna resign then they have to get something for him. But if they have to part with Deandre i would hesitate. KG would make them legit, but they would still be far from a lock to get to the Finals and it could mess up their chemistry. Deandre is not a star but he's a legit center and he's much younger than KG. Which means he will be there in 2 years, and you can't say that about KG. If they keep Jordan and add to the Paul Griffin core they can contend for the next 5 or 6 years.

As a Celtics fan, I don't want this to happen.. I'd rather KG and Pierce retire. If you're going into rebuilding mode.. do it right. Don't bring in guys like DeAndre who have very limited potential.. Start COMPLETELY over.
I'd take a couple 20-win seasons over DeAndre and Bledsoe helping the team to 35 wins and taking up cap space.

I like it for both clubs. I think the clippers give themselves two years where they have a real chance to win it. KG would be a great pick and pop player with paul but he would really help them on D. KGwould mask a lot of Blake griffins weaknesses as a defender. They would be serious, serious contenders next year with a whole year for kg to mesh with the team.
I think the celtics get an above average center and a 6th man of the year candidate for the next ten years. So they get some nice pieces to put around rondo for a decade rather than hanging on to KG and having to start completely over in 2 years.
