Both AJ Brown and Devonta Smith are frustrated with the Philadelphia offense and want changes now.

Now why the hell would anyone take a chance instead of applying a play that works 85-90% of the time? :mjlol:

This is professional sports not kindergarten.

This posts reminds me of Micah’s comment about “if you take away the scoreboard we won” when they got smoked with like 40 points.

Note that AJ brown has 3 all-pros, all came with Hurts. People are making it sound like hes just running around doing nothing. If he wanted to play in a system where the whole strategy is to get him the ball (and end up with a 7-10 record), he shouldn’t have signed an extension to 2029 as late as last year :unimpressed:
Because obviously (and predictably) it’s causing issues in the locker room…

Professional sports (and any competitive, high performance environment) is just as much about managing egos and personalities as it is calling plays.

At the first opportunity, it’s gonna blow up into a bigger deal than it already is. And it would have largely been preventable.

If you understand human nature, you would know it’s not just kindergarten shyt.

I know that certain people act like kids in kindergarten and are not team players, but it does not seem like nfl coaches or GMs give a fukk.

If it’s between them winning an SB or cuddling AJ Brown to tame his ego. It’s kind of a no brainer.

Eagles not doing the tush push at 3rd and 1 and opting for a pass play on the basis of the risk of AJ brown shedding a tear is one of worst points I’ve seen on this issue. With all due respect of course

That dude is a dumbass. If all 3 all pro seasons came with Hurts then why is this season a problem? Simple logic shows you he isn't having an all pro season because he isn't involved in the passing game.

And that dumbass refuses to see this shyt. I swear that muthafukka was held back in preK cause he couldnt identify the color blue unless it was Jello :unimpressed: ok my favorite color is jello ass Negro

See...the stupid dumbass Negro is speaking from a Fan perspective. All fans care about is rings. Players do too until they get one.

But this dumbass Negro refuses to accept that simple logic.

Rings don't get you into HOF....ask Jim Kelly....he loss 4 straight times but got in there because of what ladies and gentlemen.....STATS

It’s crazy cause historically we’ve had shyt WRs in Philly other than TO and D Jack the past 20 years and finally we trade for a superstar in AJ and draft a gem in Smith and we barely use them :mjlol:

The offense works because of the dual threat of AJ and Smith but you can’t be paying 50 million a year for two WRs and using them as decoys. They should be getting 1K yards a year EASY with that o-line and having a game breaking RB. It really does fall on Hurts and the play calling but they keep winning so the coach won’t change much

I agree on all that, but people also neglect that he’s been top 5 in each of his 3 seasons at the Eagles and was already complaining.

They also neglect the fact that he, and only he, signed an extension last year while crying and posting cryptic messages on ig.

The eagles have a problem, I don’t think anyone except the special teams is happy with anything other than them winning. But only AJ is crying in public (as usual) like it’s all about him. Like do people really think Hurts is happy about having zero completions in a half? Or Barkley happy about planting his face in big guys chests? Or Goedert basically being a linesman
It’s not just AJ apparently: Devonta in a recent interview, pretty much agreed with him. Devonta is just more laid back while AJ is out spoken. I think this leads to a trade in the offseason. Unless the offense becomes more balanced.

There’s no point of having two high paid elite pass catchers with how the Eagles run their offense. I get both sides.

They’re winning; a lot.

But is it sustainable for back to back super bowls? It’s better to work out issues early in the season rather than wait until the playoffs where you have to do it on the fly.

it could backfire too tho...once there is no threat of aj on 9 routes or threat of him just running you over in press, teams will stop worrying about the go ball as much and stack even more bodies in the box

I remember those eagles teams when they didnt have AJ...granted there was no Barkley back then...but still

and if both him and devonte are gone ....

and those rookie WRs...if they drafted high they will shut up for first 1-2 years but then it will be their time to get the next contract....

I mean they are winning...so from a team perspective like you pointed out that's their role now...to be decoys. But they play the Broncos and they need both wrs against that defense.

Sutton is out to make a name for his legacy so shyt will be interesting tomorrow
