Both BF4 and COD rushed to market unfinished/unoptimized, should gamers protest?

So the problems with both of these games have been well documented on all platforms. Neither is up to the quality standards that it should be for full retail $60.

Apparently this had more to do with competition with each other than meeting console release deadlines.

No because we are in the digital age already, so they will fix the game via a patch

Soon games will just get updated completely online, just like Killer Instinct will be

I can understand games improving via patch. Or devs fixing some unforeseen problems after release. But in this case they are lowering their own quality standards just to beat another game to market.

After selling a million+ copies day one, they have no real insentive to go back and make the game the best it could be.

But from what I've heard, its better than BF3 in every way. So I'm not mad

BF4 probably should have had a proper beta, because that shyt they did was basically a 'demo'

The graphics look good. But from what I've read the campaign is laughably short and the upgrades to MP are minimal.

TLOU released with game crippling problems and was bricking people's consoles. But once again that's different than what has happened with BF4 and COD

Battlefield 3 was released 2 years ago. The reason it feels like it just came out is because the community never died and the game had DLC throughout it's entire span that kept people playing it.
