As I mentioned before, Biden is a neoliberal moderate but he's still way better the GOP. If you can get in a younger actual Leftist, we'll be headed on the right path.
Politics is all about compromises. There's a ton of ideal candidates who simply don't have enough popularity or supporters to win elections. That's just how it is. People have been voting for the "lesser evil" or the "best out of the pack" for decades.
One thing people forget is that the GOP prefers Black non-voters over Black Republicans because an influx of Black Republicans will put more pressure on the GOP to have to answer to our community like the current DNC which is a nightmare scenario for them whereas Black non-voters pose zero threat for them as they continue to push for fascism and the slow eradication of our whole democracy.
Mississippi and Alabama aren't Right Wing because Black voters vote GOP there. Black voters in those states vote as liberal as a % as those elsewhere. The real reason the GOP is so strong there is because the Black turnout vote is abysmal and Black voter apathy is strong there. As a result, the GOP is able to pass the most ridiculous legislation over there unchallenged.
If you're going to tell people to stop voting altogether or vote for 3rd Party candidates, you'd have to present realistic scenarios. If you're a Cornell West fan, you have to concede with the fact that there's no way in hell Cornell's going to get more votes on a national scale than Biden/Trump and the Green Party is not going to get an influx of voters registering as the Green Party just because Cornell is on the ticket.
Again, though, this isn't your Bush/Romney GOP. This is the MAGA GOP that's literally teasing the idea of stripping people of civil rights, destroying democracy, and pushing for fascism. They're not even hiding it anymore. A lot of conservative commentators are going full mask off and advocating for Far Right nationalism.
We can replace Biden with someone more ideal but stopping the GOP from pushing their agenda is just as important as voting for the ideal candidate.
