I can’t find the exact quote but Obama said something brilliant about campaigning in counties you expect to lose. You go there, get seen by people, get on the local news, and shake hands because you’d rather lose there by 20 points instead of 40. Hillary racked up a looooot of massive county losses by 40+ because she didn’t show up. It’s really that simple. The black vote wasn’t strong enough for her but expecting black people to support her like Obama shouldn’t have been the plan. She needed more white votes.
