Botswana was the fastest growing economy in history and was like the 2nd poorest country in the world at that time period. From 1966-1996 for 40+ years it grew faster than China and any other country in the world. It’s sad that there isn’t hype around this country as the Botswana miracle. It’s less corrupt than England and Spain. It has a gdp per capita ppp on par with China.
