The Cavs had the right idea coming out of the half and forcing the ball into humpries hands. They didnt allow dribble penetration so easily. Better pick n roll defense overall. I think when Nene comes back they will do the same scheme but force gortat to take shots. He is definitely more respectable then Humprhies though in that area

Yeah and Nene is still a great defender

It's glaring how the defense goes from top 10 to average or below when Nene doesn't play.

i know they were down by 30 at one point. The thing i am noticing about the cavs is that if lebron comes out aggressive, gets like 10+ points in the 1st, most teams cant keep up. Hes been lackadaisical to start some of the games this year, and it permeates through the rest of the team. If he does that, the team is usually up by 15 or 20 points going into the 4th, and he can just sit the rest of the game

well it depends on the team defense he's playing

against Orlando with no rim protection sure

but last week playing SA and WAS who clogged the paint and played good defense, he was forced to take tougher shots and he wasn't in sync with his teammates

I think they're getting their timing down now, Kyrie hasn't been ball hogging the last couple nights and Love is getting more comfortable it looks like
