This song is garbage,
Her performance at the Super Bowl was garbage,
Her inauguration performance was garbage,
I really do not see the hype,
For this song?
It's not like see really has any competition to compete with,
She acting like this is the late 80's- early 90's,
And she is Sade, Janet, Anita, Mariah or something,

Who all equally had competition in their day,
She does not have any,
and which none of them made a song,
Calling other r&b bytches to bow down.

She cant hold a candle to any of them....

She dosent have that classic song, album or moment that solidifies her in their tier...

Beyonce the brand sells her more than the music...

I'm not a hater,
I have a right to agree or disagree,
I never insulted her,
All I did was stated facts.
I think she is very talented.
I wouldn't call her music or performances garbage tho, i mean, have you heard what garbage sounds like? Bey aint garbage.

But u right, she's not in the sade/janet lane, to me that alicia keys. Her music has meaning and a timeless element, but for what bey does i respect it. I dont see this being any different than an artist like prince trying to make a mark when marvin gaye put out damn near the realest music possible. Still respect prince.

and alicia and bey could both get it tho :takedat:

Beyonce is better than her material.

4 was the right direction. But the current music climate didn't allow any of the singles to be hits on the top 40.

Yup, 4 is up there with Dangerously In Love as my fave Bey album, but real R&B can't sell so :ld:

Big difference between someone keeping singles on the chart and being the bigger star. Beyonce is still the #1 , same way that Gaga looms over Katy Perry even tho Katy keeps those singles flowing.
Gaga looms over Katy Perry because she's much more talented (writes and plays her own music, etc) and she has more fans and prob the strongest connection to her fans of any celeb. None of that applies to the Beyonce/Rihanna comparison.

I was with Beyonce on her 1st solo but after that it just worst and worst musically. Again the Female empowerment anthems are getting old. Mariah and Janet and Whitney didn't need to do those songs all the time. It's time for Beyonce music to mature and elevate yet she's doing "Bow Down B!tches" like she's still in high school. I can't co-sign this mess. She's too damn grown. Of course the girls will eat it up but again to me this is exactly why she ain't messing with the LEGENDS I named. By Whitney's 4th LP she was doing "I will Always Love you". Mariah was doing "One Sweet day". Janet was doing "Rhythm Nation". Sade was doing "No Ordinary Love". Beyonce? Bow Down B!tches. Pathetic.

In reality she is, not sure where you're living.

Only thing Rihanna has on Beyonce are singles. Meanwhile, Beyonce has is performing at the Super Bowl and a Presidential Inauguration in a span of just months. That's already >>>>>> Rihanna. Rihanna's on the same level as Nicki Minaj except Rihanna has bigger singles. They both have huge singles and both are discussed more for their personal lives and antics outside of the music than the songs they put out. On the other hand, Beyonce is one of the biggest stars in the world.

"4" was a step in the right direction, no doubt but "Run the world" was the typical song. And now she's back again with another typical song. I did like "Love on Top" and "Party". But "4" is also her least selling album which is why I see she's probably going to go back to these style of songs. Beyonce to me is a brand. But how many Classic albums does she have? She's on her 5th album? Whitney? 4 straight Classics, Mariah? 4 Straight Classics, Janet? 4 Straight Classics, Sade? 4 Straight Classics (5 if you including Lover's rock). I mean I'll give beyonce "Dangerously" but that's probably it.

Everything you said applies minus the instruments. Plus when you add in the fact that Beyonce has fans that range from 7yrs old to 77yrs old, it only reinforces that her stardom is bigger. Ask someone 50+ to sing a Rihanna song then ask the same about Beyonce, go to a beyonce concert and look at the demographics, go look at how quickly bey sells out her ENTIRE tour compared to Rih whose tickets remain available, who even had to consider canceling some dates on her previous tour. But I'll let you live in the world that is pop singles and preferences of ppl 30 and under.
