You’d be surprised how much millennial black women still love Bow Wow. Dudes music definitely had an impact on them growing up.

He ain’t impactful but he’s at least selling out arenas in his 20+ career. Even if he has to get get help from the other millennials in his era. Can’t say the same for a lot of Gen Z artists. But at the same time they don’t have the outlets like we did. Artists are were way more visible back then because they had outlets like TRL and 106 and park, and the radio where people were more engaged with the music. With social media and streaming it’s killed that because people are less engaged with the new artists because there’s so much music coming out and your on to the next.

To be fair neither can Bow Wow. Hes doing it with B2K and a bunch of other artists from the early 2000s who couldn’t sell out a 1k-2K venue by themselves.

“New generation” artists (don’t know who he talking about) will do the same in 20 years when they’re all washed up and need money. A group tour just like Bow and B2K.

This is untrue. You just weren’t the Bow audience. If you were a certain age Bow did have a lot of impact, particularly for the female fanbase too. Bow has had legendary tracks, played in classic movies, sold out world tours, etc.
