I'm not saying boxing is better than mma or vice versa. But this is the one thing people always leave out when they say atleast in mma you're trained "everywhere" instead of just training to punch. Leaving out the fact that you can't really train a chin; pretty much negating the "everywhere concept" in mma.

The guy who got knocked out was 0-0 in MMA coming into the fight and had only competed in bare-knuckling boxing before hand. So the boxer that won is just as much as an "MMA fighter" as the loser.
