The issue here is if you really need help you will talk to family, see a therapist or just not talk about it at all and keep it bottled in and no one will know.

Posting it in social media means you want attention which just makes you look pathetic imo

If I found out he had actually tried to take his life I would feel more sympathy because i know he is actually going through some things and looking for a way out.

People post about suicide ideation before they do it all the time.

Social media is an extension is the regular interpersonal world, you interact with people there just as easily as in/person; the brain effects are literally the same.

You express how you feel on your platform.
