None of the people you named are anything like vanilla ice or drake but nice try in trying to compare actual songwriters with guys that had verses handed to them.
I wasn't comparing them, I was using them as examples to the lack of integrity in rap and in all genre's really. At a certain point, big business takes over, and all of them, even the ones you hold so dear in your heart, "sell out", they do ads for fashionista's, soda companies, beer, etc. Integrity is a word that doesn't belong in the realm of musicians who are backed by sponsors.
As for songwriting...you're buying into the allegations, like everyone else of course. Apparently Tupac had Ghostwriters and so did Nas...would do really mean anything to rap if they did? Not really, this is all speculation of course as there has been no proof provided toward anyone accused of having ghostwriters currently.
