fucc u if you dont agree

I know you diccriders only listen to what the media tells you, and yall been brainwashed by these cacs to believe anything white>>anything blacc made :wtb:

Boyz N The Hood is easily one of the best movies ever made. The racist blacc cop, the gentrification scene in compton, the mother hatin her own son, ricky getting killed right before going to college etc...

fucc the Godfather

I think saying this is like saying Scarface >>> The Godfather.

Yeah there is mad excitement & action, but on the level of being a quality film Boyz >>> Menace. As a cult classic Menace >>> Boyz

i disagree. menace is a more realistic and less romanticized take on the hood than boyz, with an authenticity that makes it a more engaging film than boyz.

charles dutton's character filled the role of laurence fishburn. his son was, in many respects, much like cuba gooding jr's. a good kid who hung with the wrong crowd. the grandfather was another positive voice in a world of violence that young caine ignored to his detriment. everything that you give props to boyz for (crooked and racist cops, shady bytches, the moral tug of war taking place within the protagonist's soul, etc.) exists in menace, only in a much more genuine form.

i almost feel like boyz is the white boy version of the hood.

That's not fair to Boyz because it had the burden of coming out 1st. Also I thought O-Dog made for a great movie character, but also was a bit sensationalized as far as realism.

Boyz n the hood is just as realistic as M2S.

And yea odog was kind of far fetched, especially since he was only posed to be like 15-16

that sermon laurence fishburn's character gave in front of the billboard wasn't realistic. it felt like the director preaching to the audience.
