Boyz N the Hood is the most overrated hood movie

Boyz was good for the era it came out in at the time.

But, yeah, it dont stand up

Cuba’s acting was horrific

Menace was better, because it was more realistic to how hopeless young black America was in the early-90s

nikkas was getting smoked.

I thought she sent him to his fathers as a form of punishment.........and she knew he was getting older and she couldn't do anything with him.

This was explicitly stated . Most people don't have well off relatives just sitting there waiting to raise their children.
