:comeon:

so you went from "they almost went platinum" to "over a million albums sold" in a mere matter of minutes.(edit: or are you just combining the sales of both albums?)

and they didnt do either. they sold 750k off "livin legends".

the roc broke up before MOP could get their album out. and 50 was on some super-commercial chit. he wanted them to hit the gym first. you didnt even know that they didnt drop albums on those labels until i told you.

your bias is shining bright breh.

Gatdamn my nikka, you come up with the biggest excuses for these nikkaz :russ:

It's an excuse. If mop was hot they would have got a release date. Ball & G had more success than mop and that's a fact

lol. you think thats how it works?

as for the success thing, theyre in the same boat. and if i had to chose one as being bigger, it would have to be MOP since they had the bigger hits. 8ball & mjg really didnt even have any hits. the only advantage ball & g had was being a big fish in a small pond.

Ball & g on badboy = over a million albums sold :sas1:

Mop on the roc & gunit = 0 albums MADE :what:

:mjlol::russ::russ: @ anybody thinking mop on ball & g level :camby:
One bad boy album sold over 750k. The other sold 200k. So slightly less than a million.

I agree that Ball and G were more successful - but for the relative success of the two groups (neither went platinum or had much mainstream success - although MOP had bigger hit singles for sure) - it's essentially irrelevant. Moreover, commercial success is a very small factor to me when you have two groups who were clearly well-known during their respective runs.

All the stuff about whether MOP could get an album out is irrelevant.
@Wacky D make the poll thread - its gonna be gruesome. :blessed:

that 200k was back in 07..im sure they've so more since then, hench the assumed combined million copies sold statement :sas1::sas2:

and the polls prove nothing except that its a lot of EC posters posting :sas1::sas2:

yea, i dont even do the numbers/commercial thing, unless its brought up.

and i dont understand why it was brought up here because neither of those groups were ever blockbuster acts.
