Never could get into Public Enemy, but i always liked Dead Prez, Lets Get Free and Revolutionary But Gangsta still get play from me

I hear you - everything pre "Can't Truss It" was before my time. And I don't feel the older Public Enemy albums like I do Criminal Minded, Paid In Full and long live the Kane.
But I like them way more than any Dead Prez album. They were dope though.

i was watching an old tape yesterday, where public enemy was the answer to the trivia question for the old school joint of the day on 106th & park. dude was a teenager(prolly pushing 30 now) and after he got the question right, Free asked him if he was a public enemy fan and he said "nah".

106th used to be funny when artists used to get no-sold or chitted on for no reason. thats why they stopped going in the crowd. right before they started pushing large amounts of BS.
