Man Mark Price was dope.

Apparently he was the first NBA player to consistently split the double team

Real talk...I learned how to shoot dat trey from Mark Price.

I had an issue of NBA Inside Stuff when I was 9, and it had an article with Mark talmbat how he practices shooting and everything he does when he squares up. I became lethal.

Brehs there were so many good big men in the NBA in the late 80's and 90s that cats forget about a dude like Brad Daugherty he is simply the most efficient center I ever saw. Not dominant but the dude was precise and had a high basketball iq.

19pt 9rb 4ast a night career averages. injuries robbed him of longevity,

yeah duke was a hellva player

unfortunately he an uncle tom

I forgot about Brook Lopez and Cousins lol. I'm gonna pretend that Anthony Davis is a pf (even though he's stronger and more physical than Daugherty)

The centre position isn't as weak as it used to be 5-7 years ago. So people need to stop the typical nostalgic "he would be blah blah today" bullshyt and just say he was good player back then and leave it at that.

did you watch brad daughtery play basketball, while he was active in the league?

Yes I did I've been a Cavs fan. And he wasn't an enforcer he was a finesse type but I do remember he would give some of the other bigs issues and he was extremely proficient.

Brad would average 24pt 12rb and 6ast 54fg 78ft as a focal point,...he was even productive in the playoffs. He was good money.

he really wasn't. In an era of ewing, hakeem, moses malone still, david robinson, all the legit PFs in the nba at the time, while he wasn't an enforcer, he WAS viewed as SOFT and got bullied a lot...the occasional single digit pt, zero block game WOULD HAPPEN for brad...and the combined mental weakness of him, ehlo, and price made them not a threat...at all.

it wasn't just jordan that held them back...they were always viewed as weaker/worse than the bulls, celtics, pistons, knicks, and hawks...they were fishfood when the playoffs came around.

That is true it would happen...still doesn't negate from him being good. I think the single point of failure could of been Ron Harper getting injured and the subsequent trade for Danny ferry who didn't develope....but I stand by that if brad played today he'd be the best center...the same way I think Alonzo would be also...

It was so many dominant bigs that we forget about some of the ones who aren't great but good

But this is all opinion based.
