Cole haan was my shyt a few years ago. I got 10 pair of them joints.
They been lacking the past 2 years
found some air ones with the gum sole on eBay

When i first saw they were making them i thought about getting a pair. But ion know if im trying to pay that price for em either.

yeah the Space Jams started the hype to smoking, the Concords started the fire blazing. There's always been a fair amount of hype on retros and cats who made events of saturday morning releases etc but with twitter and these sneakerblogs its a WHOLE other level of ridiculousness. Like you have to plot to the nanosecond now if you're an online head.
I used to be able to walk into Champs weeks or even months sometimes after releases and cop.
I got the Aqua 8's from a mom and pop spot in early 2009 and they had dust on them literally from sitting so long. Those came out in 07
shyt in 2008 I got quite a few countdown Packs for sale price or retail and not one of them on their release day. Casually strolling thru the mall and bought. The 20/3 pack went on sale in quite a few sizes at one point because they sat around.
I want the Shaq's mainly because I had the OG's back in the day and wore those boats proudlybut I won't put much effort into it, if it happens it happens.

Lil nikkas feel like they gotta get every pair of Jordans that dropped and some try to get several pair when they drop. It used to be a time when you waited and got that certain shoe that you had to have. Now every shoe (even many we called wack back in the day) are a must have just cuz it's retro. But i still put the blame on Jordan and Nike. These shoes have been coming out for years with multiple re-releases. Plus you got the bootleggers who make damn near identical replicas which takes away the value of the shoe anyway. But they drop a shoe in a store on a first come first serve basis and see people getting killed over them yet they won't drop them for mass release. When that would just be more money in their pockets.

What's the retail on these? I saw these a few weeks ago and was feelin em but heard they were gonna be extremely limited and didn't even want to think of the hassle.
