It can't be a good feeling to have Michael Jordan himself tell you that he doesn't like the Air Jordan colorway you created.
That's what happened to Seattle rapper and Jordan Brand family member Macklemore when he got the chance to meet Jordan. Macklemore talks about the event in Complex's latest Sneaker Shopping video, where he links up with Joe La Puma to browse the wares at Seattle's Recess. In the video, he talks about Jordan's reaction to his green Macklemore x Air Jordan 6 PE.
"I showed him the shoe," Macklemore recalls. "I have two pairs, I got the greens and the clays. He was like, 'I don't like green. fukk green. It reminds me of some Christmas shyt, no one's trying to wear some Christmas shoes.'"
Macklemore didn't let Jordan's criticism phase him – he went ahead with having the green sneakers made anyway.
