I'd never even heard of that shoe of the year award

What was last years winner?

It was clearly a publicity stunt to get Kanye to show up and it worked. They do this all the time in Hollywood. Get a celebrity to show up by giving them an award or just make an award up. There's this funny story from Conan obrien about how him and his buddies wanted to meet Bill Cosby when they were in college so they just made up an award and cold called his manager and got him to show up and it was all bullshyt.

Ive been out the game for a while but just coming back....

I see all these releases are sitting will the 12's be a hard cop ?

Nah not a fact unless you are going by sneakers sold which I don't know so I can't get into that. Outside of that everything else is opinion and most cats ain't dropping 200 on sneaks like that hence why they were sitting. By the time they went on sale their relevant time frame was basically up. Hell the KD7 which along with the KD4 are the best KD to me were sitting too at 150. That's what it is now with prices and so many color ways dropping

Actually alot of people drop 200 or more on sneakers...those XII's are ugly for the most part and that is why they are sitting...KD's have fallen off dramatically because of the poor design....the same fate happened to the Brons....

You might know a lot of people but most people just wait for them to drop now if they can't get the hookup. Why pay 200 when you know for an almost fact they will drop in a month or so unless you that pressed to have them? I just copped a pair of Kobe ix for 99 at the Nike outlet 2/3 weeks ago. Them things were 220 or so iirc. You won't get all your sneaks but you'll get the majority of them. I also just got the USA 12 Brons for 100. I don't really like the lows or any of the 12's besides the original style but I saw a shytload of cats with them on the courts so they maybe sitting (which I agree with) but cats are definitely wearing them to play ball in.

The KD8 just look like some running sneaks that's why I don't think they are selling like that.

Yes....for Brons now they wait for the price drop.....several years ago it was not like that for the most part....and you will always catch Kobe's on sale....aint no one buying those wrestling shoes.....

I think it wasn't like that because they didn't make them in the numbers they making now I think. The Kobe high tops sold well. Maybe not where you at but where I'm at they sold well outside if the snakeskin and red/black louboutin looking ones. You sleeping on the 9's looks them things are nice with that woven look to them and they are awesome for ball.
