If it's just wet then when it dries it'll lose a bit of it's "fluff" so to speak. But if it gets dirty and wet (mud), it's like damn near impossible to get it back to how it was. So basically you don't wanna fight the elements in them, if your daily routine requires you to walk through dirt or mud then don't wear them
