I'm in that same boat. I kinda liked the first pair of adidas ones (the ones that don't sit right with jeans) but I never legit tried to get them. And of course I did like the nike ones but I never thought they were worth the money.
The pairs I wanted I never considered that I'd realistically ever own, so I never cared about them.
