Depending on the hype of the release, you're going to need head starts to even have a chance at winning and that requires spending money to earn them.How is the reserve system pay to play
A poster yesterday mentioned on this site that he had to use 20K points just for the chance to win the Flu Games on Footlocker and Champs.
This reserve system is better than having to literally fight with resellers at 10am on release days
Not to mention, legit sneaker info dudes were saying for the past couple weeks that the flu games were going to be hard to get.
I agree. I was just pointing out the flaw in the reserve sytem.
They're benefitting from the resell game anyways in moving sneakers that would have sat otherwise, of course they're not going to care about fixing the problem. It's why retailers literally started moving general releases under raffles and making them non-returnable.
Not an OG, not a popular silhouette, and against absolute bangers(Nigel, SB, Union) These will be the odd one out for most.

Way too many stores and places out there. Just got to put in that footwork. I was seeing people getting confirmations on raffles days before the flu game drop. Shien, city gear, hibbet, and the rest of the these off the path stores give out a lot of W. Especially since they ship now. I haven’t fukked with trash ass FL or JD/Finish line in years

Not to mention those Travis Scott and Kobe releases are mainly CA in store releases anyways with no shipping options, so the reserve system is useless for it.

It is true. Some of those rare and hyped Kobes on Footlocker are mainly relegated to in store release in CA only. The Travis Scott ones definitely are as well.
The Travis Scott ones make sense as stores like Finishline don't even get them for whatever reason.
