The latest Nike shoe to get the all-red treatment is the Swoosh-branded Nike Air Foamposite Pro.

Previewed here, the upcoming release features a glossy gym red shell with a faint carbon fiber print throughout. The laces, collar, interior and sole are also styled in red, with black offering minimal contrast on the tongue, forefoot Swoosh, pull-tabs, carbon fiber shank and tread.

The early word is that the 'Red October' Air Foamposite Pro will hit Nike Sportswear retailers in April.

dude...i'm so old...i copped at kickz when they were only a local store in munich. i bought the nike foamposite og from them in 97, by sending a fax from south africa where i was on holiday.

I dont know man my Fire Red 4s, Cement 4s, and Military 4s all have that shytty faux leather and crease like crazy if you even look at em too long. The leather quality on these joints look way better. Lets just hope that midsole doesn't crack like the others.

I totally hear you bro. I'm a huge fan of 4s and perhaps down the line, I may pick these up. I have Fire Red 4s, Military Blue 4s, White Cement 4s. I agree the leather on them was not the best but to go so far and call these "remastered" is a bit of a joke. To me, this is the same leather on the Laney 5s and those did not have a price increase - so why these?

The mid sole does seem sturdy on these but I couldn't deal with the price hike we had here in Canada for the kicks. With that said, i'll post up some pics for those who might be on the fence/waiting for their pairs. I think this shoe will be worn heavily this summer along with Legend Blues ..which means I'd keep them on ice for at least 2 years LOL.

Have these Columbia 4s in my hand ..to be honest, I dont see what is so remastered about them. Think of the leather on the Laney 5s ..

I would hold an older pair, you can tell instantly the quality of leather is better, the stitching is A LOT cleaner. basically this is how they should be, they shouldn't have to "remaster" and raise the price to get this quality. It's crazy that jordan brand can release trash quality shoes, they sell out, then remaster them correctly and resell the same damn shoe. Oh well they got me lol
