Not a flip, I collect sneakers. And I think having a pair of these still wrapped up is a cool piece. The packaging on them is awesome.
Also if I opened it and there was shyt stains on them id have to stab someone at concepts
Hypebeast mentalityI never said I was evaporating the sneakers. Everyone's sneaker habit is different. I buy a lot to wear, some to stash, some to flip..If I want i can crack them open in a year and wear them. Or I can keep them sealed up forever what do you care. You think I bought $185 "asics" cause i liked the sneaker so much, or the whole concept of the idea, mainly the packaging. Drop them in a normal blue box and I wouldn't have paid $85 let alone $185

No I actually collect certain things, hypebeast is wearing big ass purple spaceboots cause someone else said they are hot. I can go down the list of "hype" sneakers that I think are dog shyt. To me the creativity behind these asics's is what made me buy them, they actually put thought into it, especially during a time where AF1/KD/Kobe/Jordan/LB are just making 75 colorways of the same sneaker. I am not knocking them, but you can tell they actually designed these with a purpose which made me interested in them and it doesn't hurt that the sneaker dont look bad either. I have 0 intentions of rockin them right now especially with 8" of snow outside and more snow coming all next week. So for the time being they will stay wrapped up, if come summer I want to rock them, I will open it up and wear them. I will make sure to update you as well, to calm your anxieties, since you're so interested in me opening a box.

I've just never heard anyone not opening the box to even inspect the shoe b/c they so in love with the packaging and dont even really care for the shoe to begin with.They could've sent you some XJ900s instead but you so memorized by the packaging you wont even dare disturb it's pristine themed packaging. @Monoblock I hear you, but again my question is who gives a fukk what someone does with something they purchased is my question. Maybe some people like to keep specific items sealed? How does me not opening my wrapping effect your day at all? If I got them and gave them to a stranger would that upset you too? If I returned them would that upset you? All I know a lot of people are way to focused on what OTHER people do with their own shyt. I am sure most of us here have a pair of sneakers that we never wore, I am sure to others that sounds stupid as hell too. I am sure some of us cop multiples of the same pair/size of something we like, I am sure other people will think thats stupid as well. How is this different? Why cause you guys opened yours? Cool...I am not knocking you guys for opening your packaging, i dont see the big deal either way to be honest.
