Like Damn, imagine how much more revenue Nike would make if their employees had the sense to match that supply and demand to an actual equilibrium. Even with these dumb ass resellers Nike would make bank. Nike is half-assing their shyt man.
Theres no reason that everybody shouldnt be able to cop some damn shoes online or without having to wake up at 2 AM to stay in line.

the stealths were an easy cop n ndc but i let em free. the verdes were kinda hard. didnt expect it to take that long to get in my cart. and then they sold out on ndc.. its like they allocate the least amount to themselves

which is why i said equilibrium fam. Right now the supply is low and demand is high. Economics 101 would tell you that means the price point should be higher as a result but Nike isnt even setting the price high enough to snuff out resellers. I'm seeing bids on them Gold foams at $330 which is almost 50% higher than what theyre charging at FL and NDC. Nike is letting resellers in some cases resell their shoes for $1000 like the mirror foams which is triple retail. If Nike's employees had half a brain they would be able to gauge how popular a release would be and sell for a reasonable price/quantity accordingly. I know people all over toronto who wanted them chromeposites. They aint even getting the best potential price for their product right now. They could easily increase the quantity and then the price from $230 or whatever to $270 (still far below the resellers' prices) and thereby decrease the margin resellers could make off their schtick. Decrease the incentive for the resellers and get fatter selling direct to consumer or B2B.
We got fools purchasing bots and shyt to get their shoes for like a bill +. You telling me they wouldnt willingly allocate that cost to actually purchasing the shoe?
Nike is half assing it fam. No leeway.

You're looking at this from a consumer perspective but i do get what youre aaying. If you were a Nike employee that had access to everything this discussion wouldn't even be had. Also remember, people are always purchasing consolation prizes when they miss out on big releases. I see this shyt on a regular ..people who miss out on gold foams gonna cop something else that drops. People who missed out on teal 4s today were copping flyknit 3s that they otherwise wouldn't care about. They just keep pushing product down your throat. If you wanna see equilibrium wait till the 11s drop at Christmas time for $310 CAD
