How come these shoes always look better after the release

It's the filters that people use on Instagram & such. The good thing about this year so far, is that I've been able to see majority of the releases in person the day they drop & then make the decision to cop. The 2 releases (Oreo 4's & BOB 10's) that I copped this year, I was able to go into the store & cop.
