Im gonna have to disagree with you on that....maybe out on the East Coast where you are at they were plentiful....out here on the West Coast it was a different story....it was no where near an XI release....

I can only speak for Canada but this was not a GR by any means.
In the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) there were roughly 150 pairs ..I think there were more Royals here.
Everyone has a different opinion on which 3 pairs of 1s could create a trinity ..personally as much as I like Shadows ..wouldn't make the cut.

Remember, the game has changed since 2013 my dude. In 2013, I could still walk in the store at the end of a day and grab a GR now you can't because every 15yr old is a reseller. I personally think if these came out with the NA label they would have moved just as quick as the Royals/Breds did in the same year.

The guy Don Drew on Twitter said less than 200k were made. That doesn't really give insight on whether he meant 25k or 125k though. i think its that a lot of places got them but unless you were in a HUGE city, you got 3 FSR of mens or less and 1 or 2 GS FSR.

like i said, chick i know works at an east coast FNL i think, 24 mens, 24 GS. that's 1 to 3 per size.
