Had someone try to scam me for my Mirror foams today smh...

I'm selling them to help towards getting another car, so I put them up on Kixify for $850 (around average DS price).

Had a guy message me asking if we could directly do paypal invoice because his "card wouldn't verify".

Sounded sketchy to me, but that would get rid of the 8% Kixify would take, so I was like whatever.

I sent him the invoice, and ended up getting a legit looking email from "PayPal" saying the funds were sent

and I needed to send the shoes, and once a tracking number was produced, the money would be there to use.

This dude really thought I was gonna fall for that and ship my shoes out before I actually 100% had the money.

Sad thing is he'll probably catch a young kid slippin' at some point.

Good fukkin job. Stay away from kixify though man. That place is full of scammers. Dude tried to fukk me over on the Black Infrared 6s last year (which is why I still dont have them)

Nothing special. He texted me "thanks bro" last when we were discussing the transaction, then when I got that BS email and realized it was a scam, I sent him the text I showed. He responded with a picture of Toro 4s on his feet, to show he wasn't wearing "And1s" lol. That was the end of it.
