Seen them in person and they were underwhelming. At retail its a hell no ($300 here) and even for a little cheaper its still a pass for me - color blocking way too similar to yeezy foams which I absolutely love
I totally understand where you're cuming from.
Honestly.. the Gucci foams are practical and go with many outfits (on top of that... i live in seattle, so if i'm gonna be swangin' in the reign, it helps to do it with shoes that stay clean in the process and are built like frank the tank). For instance, a grey t-shirt, stone washed denim and a fitting bomber jacket... you could make these and your upper visual fleet look quite executive for the numbers. Great way to end the summer.
The color way is simple and understated, which is a breath of fresh air from my usual loud sneaker regimen (the last 5 foam releases, sans the cool greys were all pretty loud - volt, gold, red, iridescent fish skin, chrome... so people were drawn to the ostentatiousness nature of them).
The matte finish with the contrasting gold tips and the gum bottom, set off with the green/red xmas sweater effeck... these will be sought after in the future.
But that's just me. Seems like these are truly a love/hate release.
