seems their collabs still release in pretty limited quantities, but their general releases... they flood the market with em.. I cant even be mad
i get the complaint about over saturating but at the end of the day, its giving you a greater chance to buy a quality shoe (at a higher price point of course) without having too pay some random fukkboy who bought 10+ pairs a ridiculous price. and on top of that, the quality on these releases have been much better than releases prior. so can we really be mad at nike??
I get that people like to be the "only ones" with a shoe, but at the end of the day I'd rather we all eat than be greedy all whilst paying double (sometimes triple) for a plate. If you wanna be mr. exclusive, go for collabs.

Before 2015... i was not eating very good fam. I was paying resell for gr's cuz at the time, there was only one footlocker in the city and niketown was closed for remodeling... the options were very limited.
Fast forward a year and niketown reopens, 2 more footlockers open within 10 miles driving distance and on top of that, nike exponentially increase production numbers.
I've been eating very well for the past year. I'd say this took effect since All Star Weekend 2015 when i copped the AS released with ease and the remastered IV's were easily attainable.
Just a month before that, i struck out on the legend blues and a month before that, infrared sixes (i paid resale for those, 220 i believe).
That seems to be a non-issue and most people, becuase of the augmented price point, people seem to hold on to the shoes and wait to sell/wear them or use them as trade bait; nobody is actually wearing the shoes cuz they're so damn expensive.
i was complaining HEAVY on here and Niketalk about the resellers; actually put all my time and effort and crafted dissertations on sneaker forums and NIKE actually fukkin' listened (they have moles that traverse discussion sites... you speak with enough conviction; somebody is bound to take notice. To be frank, i don't really care for quickstrike and hyperstrike shoes because they're usually more headaches than they're actually worth to obtain.
I mentioned it numerous times in the past and i'll say it again, i've never resold a pair of shoes; i'll give away some heat (to friends that can't afford and appreciate a nice pair of new or lightly worn ) or return them before i flip for profit. But that's just me. You can't say you can't knock the hustle. Cuz if EVERYBODY did it... the margin for true afficionados that ACTUALLY WEAR ALL THEIR SHOES (you know, the ones that live, eat, breathe these things because they have a true admiration for them, not because they want to follow trends and beast)... to acquire would be slim and grim.
Cuz i know y'all remember back in 2014 when i was unshamefully having to resort to copping unauthorized and paying resellers for GR's... posted that shiit all over NT for a reason: I WANTED NIKE TO TAKE FUKKIN' NOTICE!!! I was on a fukkin' campaign trail, going from city to city to showcase the pitiful extremes the sneaker "game was heading towards; it was a desperate cry for gawt damn help!!!!
And fortunately for us all... in just a matter of a few months...
